Agreed it would seem the problem has passed. Lets hope they've worked out the issue.
@MarkC
Unfortunately Mark I doubt BT/Plusnet/IDnet/Openreach have done anything today. It's the weekend and the team looking after this tends to keep weekday office hours. This is par for the course, 18 hours of slowdown followed by a period of good speed then back to rubbish. This has been happening for well over 12 weeks so the pattern is there.
Sadly I completely agree with George...
And the speeds are going down again.... I'm getting poor picture quality on BT TV HD channels again and the last speedtest from BTW was 85Mbps, though you'd think that was more than enough for HD...
Getting really, really fed up with BT's failure to fix this problem.
@JTG6
I wasn't online last night after 6pm so didn't notice any slowdown. This morning things are running fine here.
However I cannot beliieve that at 80Mbps your BT TV channels don't work properly. That speed is well in excess of any minimum which I think is 2Mbps. It does beggar believe our fttp setup. So much for the future of telecomms.
Hi George - I was in bed shortly after my last post, but speeds this morning are ok (270Mbps).

Well done...you've clearly got a good grip on geography.
