Ive had FTTP 330/50 for almost a year now, its was a brand new install by Openreach in our area in Feb 2020.
The BT checker https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/ shows FTTP available at 330/50 all but my small area of the village can get 1000/220, all feed to the same exchange - its been almost a year and want to upgrade to 1000/220 but they wont let me. Whats wrong here, I have a Huawei ONT.
Any chance a Mod in the know can PM me to get some details and check out the issue, ive called about 4 times to various different departments, I wont list the excuses as it really is embarrassing, lets just say one tried to blame the cabinet!
enter your phone number and post results. were you phoning the FTTP 08005874787?

Ive have tried that number a number of times. We have never had FTTC even though it shows 'Planned' up until Feb 2020 it was ADSL only. We are a Fibre first town exchange is EMHARD.
until the checker shows you can get any faster connection speed there is nothing you can do but enjoy what you have. If you have tried the FTTP team and they have told you the same then just keep looking at dslchecker until you see faster speed available
Well it took over a year since new installation and order but today I noticed I could change to 1000/110 if I wanted. So I did, live tomorrow.
Lets see what Gigafast 900 and BT 900 can do through my 10Gbe Draytek 3910. 😁
