I've been having problems recently with the Humax box (Model DTRT1000) locking up frequently and failed recordings. I see from other messages that failed recordings is a common problem so I'll not pursue that one at this stage.
Yesterday I decided to retune and there seemed to be progress. However the process simply would not complete and I had to power off.
I decided to look at the option of Factory reset and rang BT to seek advice. Yesterday the advice was I could do a factory reset and retain my recordings by using the buttons on the front of the box when I powered on to get into a maintenance mode which would give me options. I was told there was guidance on the BT website.
Having failed to locate the guidance I ran BT today and was told that there was no factory reset option that retained recordings.
Which is right?
If there is a maintenance mode how do i get into it? The only buttons on the front of the box (apart from the large central one) are Vol-, Vol+, P- and P+ (in that order).
Where is there guidance on the website?
Update : I have found the answer from another messsage; I should have done a search before posting the question.

Hi @Gratias
Thanks for your post and welcome back!
Great to see you managed to find the solution yourself. For the benefit of the community and others who may have the same problem, would you be so kind as to put up a quick post explaining what worked for you and marking that as the solution please?
Cheers,
Robbie
