Hi @PedroC sorry to hear about that experience. If you would like to drop me a PM with some background on what you were reporting and how that was fielded by the Consumer advisor, I'd like to see if we can do better for you.
thanks
David
I'm not sure if it's related to the current problem, but last night three programmes failed to record from Universal channel, but instead of being listed as failed to record, the programmes are still sitting in my scheduled recordings list, though they now say they were scheduled for yesterday. The box was switched on at the time and other scheduled recordings worked fine.
Been away for just over a week, return to find 2 episodes of Eastenders "failed to record" and Football on 5 Goal Rush also failed to record.

Interesting, I think that's the first report of a record-fail on an internet channel as far as I can see. All the rest are off Freeview.
Yes that was the first problem I've had with an internet channel, but last night the same thing happened with The Good Fight on more4, it's slightly different behaviour than the previous failed recordings as the recordings didn't seem to even attempt to record or register to record and the programmes are still listed as a future recording despite the air date being in the past.
Hi everyone, and happy Friday and to give you and update on where we are:
We've been working with Youview around the issues we've seen with the DTT Freeview recordings - we're pretty clear when that started and testing components to see why the "wake up" calls that get written when a recording is scheduled are apparantly not triggering. As some of you have seen if you're watching the the same content and hit the STB remote, the recording starts even if past due, so the event is there, it's the trigger that's "missing" which is what we're focusing on.
The digital channels didnt seem to be affected by that issue so it's interesting that some people have reported failed recordings on those too. While some of these fails might be down to changes the EPG scheduling for events, we will look at all of those to see if they share the same signature as the DTT issue.
thanks

Out of curiosity I set some regular programs to record on an OldGen box & had failures for BBC1 HD Holby City on Tuesday 8 May and Neighbours & Home and Away (CH5) on Wednesday 9 May.
This box - an Ultra HD box - is just on to test these failing recordings.
Suggests it's not really a firmware version issue.
My recording of IndyCar: GP Of Indianapolis stopped after 16 minutes tonight on BTSport ESPN, and most of that was Tennis that overran. As it's the second IndyCar failure in the last few weeks, it must surely be down to BT not being able to apply the programme data properly.
Just to add that on by DTR-T2100 running 29.53 Neighbours & Home & Away (CH5) on Monday 7 May also failed.
