Evening, wondering if anybody can offer some advice.
Over the past few weeks, been having problems with our broadband speed slowing down during the day.
Early Dec: An internal fault with wireless kit affected our BB speed to start with (but this was slow 24/7), this was sorted and line tested - everything ok.
Since Mid Dec:
First thing in the morning download speeds have been around 5000kbps+
This then slows down during the day to around 250-550kbps.
We are 300 yards from our exchange.

I work with networks/servers in the IT industry (over 20 years) so I do have a bit background knowledge etc on this, Its baffling me! 🙂
Troubleshooting done: replacement micro filters, another router, direct Rj45 connection to router etc etc.
Currently router is directly plugged into the master socket (with filter etc)
Any advice much app!

Hi Welcome to the forums
If you post the full stats from your router
For homehub – type 192.168.1.254 into your browser
Navigate to ADSL Settings or use the A-Z at the top right of the home page and scroll down to ADSL Settings and click on it
Click on More Details and then post the full results.
Have you tried connecting to the test socket at the rear of the master socket
Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal
also you could try the hints given by poster RogerB in this link they may help http://community.bt.com/t5/BB-in-Home/Poor-Broadband-speed/m-p/14217#M8397
Then someone here may be able to help and offer more advice.

if you have other sockets apart from the master have you tried connecting to the test socket to eliminate any problems from your internal wiring?
Yes router is now directly connected to the Test socket (thru microfilter)
your stats look like congestion - fine during the day and not very good during peak times. wholesale are aware there is a problem from your post but no date to fix it
