Re: Favourite TV Series

I don't watch much telly apart from sport, but would welcome a long overdue repeat of I Didn't Know You Cared. Yorkshire at its best!

If you liked Les Dawson (yes, AQ, I know he wasn't a Tyke), you'll love this.

Re: Favourite TV Series

I'm a great fan of Les Dawson, in particular his "Cissie and Ada" sketches with Roy Barraclough.

Re: Favourite TV Series

Me too AQ. There's something intrinsically amusing about gloomy northern men (even in drag) having a good gripe. As well as Uncle Mort and Cissie & Ada, the Monty Python 4 and Compo and Co spring to mind. Wouldn't work so well with cheery cockney chappies like the ones you get in Eastenders.Smiley Very Happy
