So bit the bullet and upgraded to full fibre 900, upgrade was complete this morning however when I run the speediest from MyBT the speed from the exchange to the hub is much lower as 755Mb. Upload is fine at 110Mb. Any reason why the speed from the exchange to the hub should be anything less then the 910 advertised?
Pretty sure it's the speed from your device to the hub now as the "Sync Speed" which is the speed from the Exchange to the ONT will always be 1000/1000.
If you log into the HUB and check the Sync speed it should say 1000/1000.
What device are you testing on?
The BT app does not work properly with Fibre 900. After a hub reboot you will probably find the app stops even displaying an exchange to hub speed. There are loads of complaints on here that the app is not working.
At the moment the correct way is something like fast.com but must be done wired with a PC with 1gig ethernet card.
I have the same issue, pretty much (though my upload has now stuck at 50 after a reboot - it initially sat at 120).
It's not really an issue in practice, but like you I expected it to hit a solid 910 due to the nature of the connection. I'd love to know if there is an issue somewhere.
Mine is up to 875mbps down and 115mbps up now. Seems that there is a certain amount of "stuff" that happens behind the scenes...
