Fibre Speed has dropped by 75%

Hello,

I have been connected to BT FTTC since 29th December 2015.

I have been synced at 79999 Downstream & 19999 Upstream according to the Hub5 ever since activation.

Initially we were getting 73/74 Mb/s & 18/19 Mb/s on a .

Recently the speed available has reduced substantially with a test result of 9.85 Mb/s & 6.71 Mb/s this morning.

This is ridiculous reduction in speed.

Any ideas why ?

The cabinet was enabled in December 2015, and I was likely one of the first to get a connection.

Re: Fibre Speed has dropped by 75%

Are you testing wired or wireless?

Can you log into your router and post the connection stats?

Can you run this checker and post back a screen shot of the results. Make sure you delete your phone number before posting.

Can you use this speed tester then carry out the further diagnostics and post back a screen shot of all the results including your IP profile for up and down. This test must be done with a wired connection.

if you have a Homehub 5 can you also post the stats from 1-12 by logging onto the homehub management pages then troubleshooting > helpdesk. http://bthomehub.home/
