Hi,
I posted on here a few weeks ago before we moved to our new home. BT website/BT people said Fibre was not available, despite the fact our neighbour has it... anyway opted for the Faster Broadband package as it was the only one we could get. That's been installed for almost two weeks, and the results on the ADSL checker are now different. What does this mean? On the BT Broadband checker it still says that we can only get 7-13mb but are getting 14-15mbs.
It could be that the cabinet is full, but surely BT would know this and we could go on a waiting list?
First pic below is on 16/01/17 (before phoneline connected), second is 08/02/17
Thanks
Infinity is not available to those whose estimated speed is less than 15Mbps but the faster broadband package is. It is still delivered via FTTC exactly the same as Infinity.
Hi guys,
It also looks like the first screenshot is with an address search and the second is with the number once the line was connected.
As you guys know, you'd get a much more accurate reading with phone number as opposed to the address.
Cheers,
Robbie
Hi @santa_nethy
Thanks for posting back!
Did you receive an order confirmation email after placing your order? You should have got a speed quote on that. Do you have it handy to take a look?
Cheers,
Robbie

Hi, the first one was just with the postcode as we hadn't moved in and their wasn't an active line. Now we're in we've got it reconnected etc.
So do we think that the reason we can't get it is because there is no space in the cabinet? Who can I contact to find out? Thanks
The availability checker will say so in the notes below the table if there isn't any spare capacity in the cabinet.
Look at this! In the past few days it has changed so there is a waiting list... It's as if it was meant to be! I shall be calling this morning... thanks everyone for your help!
