Which excahnge are you on? If it is congestion there is no point in calling in or having engineers out as it is dealt with by BT Wholesale.
Can you run btspeedtester and when first test completes run diagnostic test and post results remember must be done with wired connection. Do test when ok and again when the problem exits. Post both results

i sorry for only getting back now was waiting as i had a second enginer coming hopeing that would fix my problem.
but speeds are still dropping at night time from 7pm to midnight.
he put on new wall plate on to stop interferenece but hasnt worked.
he has called everyone bt wholesale etc..... and they all came back that it was fine on there end
i will do some speed test to show you what iam getting
feel like just canceling my bt broadband no one seem to know whats going on.
iam spending too much time every night for the last 2 months going throught the same stuff so frustrating
