Final Bill

Why is it taking so long for my final bill to be generated?

 

I cancelled my line and Broadband at the end of August as I no longer required the services. My contract was terminated at the end of September as per the 30 day notice period and I'm still waiting for a final bill.....

 

Surely it shouldn't take this long to sort?

 

The accounts team tell me it can take up to 40 days from the point your account is closed... Surely this should have been from the day you give notice you wish to cancel the contract.

 

I just want my final bill so I no longer have to deal with BT.
