Spent nearly an hour on the web and on-line trying to sort this...
I have moved my line rental from BT to EE, in November. However BT are telling me they did not receive instructions until 16th December. (told 18th of another advisor)
I have an email from them saying the line will move the the 6th january - however the latest bill shows they want me to pay for line rental until 18th jan and then they will send me back the money.
I would just like a final bill showing what I owe until the 6th.
I am not confident I will be sent monies due as I cannot get the same answer when I ask.
That is the way BT billing works. You pay advance rental, and any refund will show on the final bill, when it will be repaid by whichever method you use to pay your bill.
So if I work out the line renatl and pay until the date it moves from them - are they going to charge me for late payment on a service I have not even used?
