Re: Finally happy

Currently no, but I do receive my phone line through an OpenReach box coming into my home. I pay Virgin Media (useless) who buy off of BT. It's just generally cheaper by £10pm to do so, but as soon as I can switch (end of contract 2 months), I can leave. No point until I can get Infinity really as the ADSL speed won't change.

No faults on my line, it was checked last week. Internal or external, all was good.

Any proof of that rediculous statement?

Re: Finally happy

It's not ridiculous? It's called wholesaling. I've been constantly told by Virgin Media that they rent/buy the lines off of BT and then supply to their customers. My last checks were done by BT & at the BT exchange, so yes it's a BT line. It says OpenReach on the NTE5 entering my property and my phone number is a BT number.

Re: Finally happy

I changed from Talk Talk back to BT in February, this in anticipation of Infinity (Tomorrow By The Way) and my speed in leaving Talk Talk and back to BT on ADSL doubled.

Roll on tomorrow 😉
