Flashing purple light on router

Hi,

Could anyone advise of a solution, router has been displaying a flashing purple light with no broadband connectivity. Manual says this means the hub is working but the cable isn't connected. We have checked and double checked cabling to router, even bought new cable and microfilter but the problem persists.

Been through online diagnostics, used the test socket and no joy. What would be the next step to getting connected again, this is a relatively new install (connected on April 10th) and this issue has been ongoing for around a week. Presume the problem could be with the master socket or cabling in the street?

Do you have a dial tone on your landline?

Post the hub stats from Advanced settings/technical log/information.l

@RW9

Is your phone line working?

Is there any noise on your phone calls? Dial 17070 and select option 2, there should be no noise between the announcements.

Does your phone work. If you dial 17070 option 2 should be silent and best with corded phone
