home hub is type B

 

to re-iterate

 

same result with FireFox or IE8

 

works fine on BT Business BB line with netgear - no BT vision

fails on Home BT line home hub 2 with BT Vision - box connected

fails on 2nd Home BT line home hub 2 with BT Vision - but no Visionbox connected

 

worked fine on both lines up until about a week ago

what version Home Hub have you 1, 1.5 or 2 and if it's 2 is it an A or a B, do you have BT Vision?

so it appears to be BT Vision enabled lines with a BT hub that is the problem....

Come on BT get it fixed please......

speedtester is failing on lines with BT Vision - and has been for over a week

I think you'd need more "evidence" than that...I wondered whether it was something as simple as cookie clearing?...eg, as FF shuts down, cookies cleared?....dunno, a mystery so far.

Have you tried updating your java version?...is it enabled ok?...a few things maybe to look at.

When a zero cookie IE8 browser and a well customised Firefox 3.6 give the same result at all times of day, for numerous customer, then I'm inclined to look at the BT end of things rather than my own.
