Freedom of information request

I've been trying to get a copy of the recorded calls between myself and BT. I've been directed to a page where I fill in a form and it says it has been accepted but I receive no confirmation email and no follow up. How am I supposed to know anyone is dealing with this? Everytime I phone and speak to someone they point me in the direction of that online form!

It can take up to one month for a response to be sent so if you don't hear from them by that stage please get in touch.

Surely an automated 'we have received your request' email should be sent. What proof do I have in a months time that I requested it? You are legally bound to supply me the information in a timely manner but how can I hold you to account if you can deny ever receiving the request?

BT are getting shadier by the day.
