Freeze payment for BT Sport

Are BT going to freeze the payment for BT Sport until the sport it back up and running...…..like Sky Sports have done? I am very reluctant to pay for a service that I will not be able to use/doesn't exist/shows no live sport. Maybe follow in the same steps as Sky and as soon as the sport is back up and running we can all re-activate our BT Sport subscription? If nothing is done to help the customers out I will be cancelling everything I have with BT that's for sure.

Want to cancel BT sports

I'm logged into Bt, and I can't find the page where I can cancel BT sports package. I've found where I can buy more, but managing what I currently have and want to stop is alot harder? Help please.

Re: Want to cancel BT sports

Thanks, so you can buy more items via internet, but you have to ring up to cancel. That sums up BT.

Yeah, bit of a pain really but this is their way of trying to offer you a better deal so you don't leave.

Re: Want to cancel BT sports

Not just BT. Sky do the same, you can buy and upgrade online, but when it comes to cancelling you have to ring. That's exactly how it was for me so it's definitely not just 'typical of BT', the other companies do it too.

Re: Freeze payment for BT Sport

I am sure this is being considered in the higher echelons of BT.  They'd be foolish not to give this serious consideration - Sky have not taken the step as an act of altruism or generosity; they believe there's a competitive advantage to be gained.

Cancelled BT Sport but still have to give 30 days notice

Hi, I was on the phone for 45 mins yesterday waiting for someone to answer me to cancel BT Sport. Apart from getting the spiel about why am I cancelling?, am I not interested in sport? I also have the usual 30-days notice period. Why when all live sport is cancelled should customers have to put up with that? I have to pay for something I am not getting, surely BT can at least waiver the notice period and please stop getting CS to interrogate us over why we aren't watching sport that isn't actually taking place!

Can I get this notice period waived and the package cancelled now - when the price rise has just kicked in?

Thanks
