@LeHero I clicked on the BT sport option
That’s what I did. I have the VIP package so I am not just cancelling BT sport, I am trying to either suspend the sport component in it or to step back to the Big Entertainment package. She said she couldn’t deal with it.
@LeHero I asked for credit on account.. got given it. I’m on max 4K pacage
Hi @LeHero,
Have you tried to change your BTTV package via your MyBT account?
Here is a quick guide
Near the bottom of the page you will see a link named- Change your BT TV package or add a bolt-on by logging into My BT
I hope this helps?
Thanks
Matt
@Matt-S I tried that yesterday morning. All it said was I was on the full package and would only give me the option of adding bolt-ons. It gave me no options to change packages.
Went in live chat a couple of days ago re my phone package , call taker sorted me with a new updated package costing me a bit more a month. Simple and easy. Went on live chat last night to raise question about freezing BT sport as there is no live sport and I don’t want to watch saint and greavsie or a game played 10 years ago. Was told that live chat could not sort that and I had to call.
live chat sorted me when I upgraded my package immediately but freezing sky sports was a bridge too far !!! Outrageous quite frankly.
BT follow Sky’s “pause sky sports” example NOW before numerous customers find alternative phone providers
Hi Matt S
I do not have BT tv though. I only use BT sport through sky box connection. How would that translate on my BT . I spent 1 hour approx trying to reach someone and then time on the ports also - with no luck. Is the webchat suspended ? Thanks for your help!!!

The link @Matt-S posted was to manage new BT TV packages which include NowTV content, It allows you to upgrade/downgrade, your package is BT Sport on Sky which has no upgrade/downgrade option as your subscription is BT Sport only.
If you're looking to make changes you would need to contact BT by phone.
There seems to be 93 replies how do I view them? I want to suspend my BT Sport until live sport restarts.
It appears that BT are ripping customers off at a time of national crisis! What do others think?
