WE are exactly the same. Hopefully BT will be listening to comments hear and do the right thing, otherwise I think a lot of people will be moving to other providers in the future.
You will let us know..... IF you are able to pause your subscriptions???
BT should consider very quickly their actions with regards this issue because people will just cancel their direct debits and let you come get whatever whenever using the situation as their bail out. You will not win longterm IF you upset your loyal customers.
Get your fingers out BT.
@k865uk While I totally agree with what you say... cancelling a DD will just mean you loose ALL you have ( phone and internet ) . BT should be more proactive in this.
Maybe BT could ask Sky for some advice on this and share good practice and customer service from Sky
Whilst I can see the logic, be very careful about deleting direct debits. If you do this, there is nothing stopping BT from reporting this to the credit agencies which will cause issues for up to 6 years. Especially problematic if you need to remortgage or get credit.
Just been on Live Chat with BT regards their Sports package. They are crediting my account for the next month and will continue to do this if sport unavailability continues ( BT Sport & HD pack).
Nothing on the MY BT account about this but they've said this decision has only been made today !!. But I suggest people contact them via Live Chat to get the refund 👍👍⚽️⚽️. Apperantly they are going to put this information onto online accounts
