I have an Asus AC68U modem which has the G.INP option to turn on/off.
If i have it off my max sync rate is 77 Mb/s
If i turn G.INP on my max rate drops to 59-65MB/s .... why would that be ?
I thought G.INP was meant to improve things .
I believe my cabinet is Huawei and my modem reprots the chipset is Broadcom.
Should i just leave G.INP off ???
In your DSL log does it show that G.INP is on & is it on for both downstream & upstream?
This is what my DSL Modulation shows in the log - "ITU G.993.2(VDSL2), G.998.4(G.INP, Downstream only)"
If it's not on but you've selected the option then just leave it & let DLM does it job.
Moral of the story, don't try and fix something which isn't broken 😉
