Re: G.INP affecting certain eci modems, resulting in a drop in sync rate and other issues

I think I prefer the delay which hopefully means better testing before release unlike the huawei cab release

Re: G.INP affecting certain eci modems, resulting in a drop in sync rate and other issues

I hope so...

I've not heard anything regarding ECI cabinets, which is worrying.

I have a few Homehub 5's that keep disconnecting on my line when used as a modem during the day, so I just use it as a router. I have an ECI and Huawei modem as well which are both rock solid, and am connected to an ECI cabinet.

But G.INP would make a big difference on my line to help me recover the original sync I first had.

I will be interested personally to hear about the eci/hh5A on eci cabinets. And the trial firmware on the hh5A as I'd loved to have had it but nothing thus far still.
Seriously good luck to everyone. I want the outcome to be great for everyone.
Mark.

Re: G.INP affecting certain eci modems, resulting in a drop in sync rate and other issues

Do Openreach have a schedule for this role-out?

Is it possible to give an approximate date for recieving it ...by exchange name ...for example Woodbridge?

Just to add to the above ...I was getting constant buffering over the weekend watching iPlayer ...which is not usual!
