G.fast Vs FTTC

Hi, I’ve had a letter from BT saying that I can upgrade to BT Ultrafast Fibre Plus. I’m already on 76mb, so I’m not too bothered about the extra speed, but I was wondering whether the ping would be better, worse, or about the same? This might tempt me to upgrade.

Has anyone that’s upgraded from FTTC to G.fast noticed a difference in ping? Please could you let me know. Thanks for your help.

AFAIK there is no difference in latency.

I very much doubt if latency occurs at the DSL layer hence there will be no difference between FTTC and G.Fast
