Getting BT Broadband on to XP

Hi All,

I have just reinstalled XP on to my wifes computer, floowing a virus attack, but now find that BT Broadband does not appear on the control panel'Internet and network', in fact, ther is no wireless connection showing.

Can anyone guide me on getting my BT Hub 3  connected to the newley installed XP.

Many thanks, in anticipation,

Bob,

Re: Getting BT Broadband on to XP

are you using a wifi card or wifi adapter via usb to connect to the hub?  is your wifi active and switched on?

Re: Getting BT Broadband on to XP

You need to ensure that you have the correct drivers installed for the WiFi adaptor fitted to the PC.  Also check that the wireless hasn't been turned off.  Most laptops have wither a small switch or a magic keypress to turn it off.

Good timing with the Windows XP install - Microsoft are abandoning all support for it today!
