Ratty2012's post is totally correct there are many causes for connection speed to drop sometimes it may recover other times not however it is very unlikely Openreach will do anything to recover a lost 6mb as your speed is well above the minimum fault threshold

@bartman1967 Create a broadband quality monitor @ Thinkbroadband. You'll probably have to use a different router unless you want to mess with DMZ.

You certainly have an unusual amount of jitter. Throughput is fine.

Like I said thats what I use to get, its only when I believe I have problems I ask for help, its not like I am spamming the forums with every niggle I get.

 

Latest one if theres any interest:

 

 

iplayer and online media streams buffer more than ever.

 

 

But thanks to all that have replied, it is really appreciated, TBH I actually believe its the weather, cables are on Telegraph poles, so its more than likley that (Was with Cable to long 😕 )
