Originally I was getting a steady 70/65, however since last month or so the speed has been dropping consistently, and my current speed is 25/30mb, this is like less than half my original speed.
We dont use the land line phone since last year, and the router is literally next to desktop which is next to the internet socket thing, so im guessing its not a line problem or hardware issue. I'm paying like £52 for geting 20Mb which is ridiculous.
According to my router, my Max Data Rates are 20 up and 50 down, but my actual rates at 18.4 up and 43 down. It feels like im capped at 40mb download.

Aconnection time is only 11hrs was that router dropping connection or manual reset?
can you find your landline phone and check for line noise - dial 17070 option 2 should be quiet and best with corded phone
have you tried using test socket with a filter?
