Getting text messages from contacts who have not sent them.

Hi.

I'm getting text messages saying:

'I've sent you a BT Photo/Video Message.  Go to https://bt.mms.ee.co.uk Your message is valid for 7 days' 

These are coming from people in my contact list who have not sent them.  I've checked they have not sent them.

This started this week when I visited Moldova.

Can anyone help?

What's probably happened there is that your contacts have inadvertently sent a text as an MMS (usually in reply to an MMS). Can happen when a picture fails to be sent by iMessage in the absence of a data connection and the iPhone falls back to MMS.
