I joined BT early November and discussed the free gift deal with an online advisor. After agreeing I wanted to go ahead with this deal, and that I would recieve an xbox or tv as my gift, I waited months for an email to claim my gift.
I decided to call and ask what was happening only to be told I wasn't on the deal that included the free gift, even though I was promised that's the deal I was given by the online advisor in November.
The only reason I went for this deal, was to receive the gift, I would never have paid more to get BT sport otherwise. Feel like I've been completely ripped off and very disappointed. I have raised complaints about this but nothing has happend.

Gifts are normally only offered for orders placed online, however if you received a verbal confirmation that you would receive the gift, then this can be checked, as all calls are recorded.
I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.

Online orders must be placed via the BT website to qualify for a gift.
Unfortunately not, I didn't think I'd need it. I've tried calling a number of times. I spoke to one woman who agreed that I should have recieved the gift and she said she would get it sorted and I would recieve a call back in 4 working days. I never received a call back but got an email saying my complaint had been closed...
I am not sure a moderator is going to be able to help unless there is a record of the conversation. You will just have to wait for them to post here.
