Goal Alert - switches to SD

While watching BT Sport in HD with the Red button service loaded I get a GREEN goal alter.

Not only does this go to the SD channel to show the goal  -  but when you return to your original match that is the SD version too.

As I'm on HD to start with - why can't it stay HD for the service?

Re: Goal Alert - switches to SD

Are you watching on a Sky box? Red button service on Sky is SD. Has always been like that for the last 9 years. BT TV on youview has all the games in HD on the red button access.

No - BT box.

All the channels are HD are work fine -  but 'goal alert' selected the SD channels - so had to manually change back to HD

Re: Goal Alert - switches to SD

I've seen a few reports like this but never been able to replicate it.

Have fed it back to the dev's and will try and work out if there are any edge cases that have been missed.

Re: Goal Alert - switches to SD

Goal alerts didn't work for me during the first half. Noticed that when using the red button it normal says press OK to watch, but this time stated "channel is hidden". Clearly referring to the SD channels that I removed and so was unable to switch over. For some reason the second half worked fine and channels switched over to the HD version.

Re: Goal Alert - switches to SD

Sounds like a similar root cause, I'll add it to the investigation

Many Thanks
