I've just found a 77 page thread regarding HH6 bug reporting and fixing. So, while it may not be a problem for everyone, it would appear that the HH6 could be where the problem lies. I think I'll try a new router. Not particularly tech savvy. Would the TP-LINK Archer VR600 Wireless Modem Router - AC 1600, Dual-band be a reasonable purchase?
Yes that would be a good choice. Several forum members use them and seem pleased.
Thanks again. Now its happening with my laptop as well. Aaaaggghhh!
Getting this error message which is the same as the one on mobile devices. Is this google or BT? Or impossible to say?

If you do not want to spend too much money to prove the fault, then this is an alternative
The TP-Link TD-W9970 N300 for about £35 or less. Very good value for money, and readily available locally, so easy to return if you are not happy with it.
There is a review here http://www.kitz.co.uk/routers/tplink_TD-W9970_review.htm
There is a quick setup wizard.
