Hello. I have just purchased a Bush Smart HD TV and I am unable to connect it to the internet. I have strong Wifi signal. TV close and in range. I have read trouble shooting in manual for TV and it states:
"Since your TV has its own MAC address, your internet service providers cannot validate the MAC address of your TV. For this reason your TV cannot connect to the internet. Contact your service provider and request information on how to connect a different device such as your TV...."
I logged into the Smart Hub 2 Manager. The Bush TV is showing under "My devices" with following info:
Private IP 0.0.0.0 (Static) Connection Status - Not connected
IPv6 addressing - this divide either does not support or is not configured for IPv6 addressing
Please can anyone offer me some advise or help. When I am setting up Ive tried searching for wireless networks and my wifi is showing up. I also tried the option to press WPS too. Also tried setting up manually but nothing is working.
Any advise and help would really be appreciated. Connecting an ethernet cable isn't an option as I need it to be wireless.
thank you all in advance (please keep it simple as I really do not know what Im doing and my head is about to explode or TV about to be thrown out the window!!) lol
