HH2 LAN Wireless Connection Dropping out

Hi,

Over the past week or so, every machine connecting to the HH2 is getting dropped off it intermittantly.

It goes between Connected/Not Connected/Limited Access/Connected - No Internet Connection,   on all machines/phones connected.

The line connectivity 'seems' ok, just the LAN Wireless side of things.

Speed is very erratic too.  Have refreshed the Wireless Channel, but it stays on 11 automatically.

Had to piggyback on a neighbours BT FON to post this !!

Reset the HH a few times to no avail . Last time was last night.

Re: HH2 LAN Wireless Connection Dropping out

That's what I was thinking !   Had a search in the forum, but didn't see that link...  it sounds very similar...  can connect to other networks OK (BT FON neighbours Smiley Wink )

How do I go about reporting it without jumping through hoops to the overseas 'help' centre ?

Re: HH2 LAN Wireless Connection Dropping out

Your should really go through the helpdesk first, as its going to tbe the quickest way to get a replacement home hub.

Just tell them that it keeps restarting on its own, and you suspect that its the power unit.

If you cannot make any progress with them then,

If you would like to contact one of the UK based BT Care Team who moderate this forum, they should be able to help you.

They can be contacted using this link BT Care Team

They normally respond by phone or e-mail, within three working days, however you should get an immediate confirmation, with a tracking number.
