We have an ongoing issue where our HH3 requires a daily reset because we lose bandwidth.
Before resetting speed tests show that we typically get < 1Mbps download speed, and clients struggle to wirelessly connect.
Post reset, we get anything upto 25Mbps ; this higher speed is usually sustained for a few hours. All client wireless connectivity is restored to the standard one would expect.
Usually overnight, the download speed regresses back to < 1Mbps.
I have contacted BT support, and they have suggested changing router wireless channels etc., but the problem persists.
I'm convinced the router is faulty.
Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks very much for this link Keith. I will stop resetting my router for a couple of weeks and see how things pan out.
We have now waited for our broadband line to "settle" for a period of 7 days (I had to reset the router for emergency internet access), and 10 days. I had to reset the **bleep** router just to get on here!
My connection speed problems persist. I just don't know what has instigated this situation. All was fine until a few weeks back, when our connection speed just plummeted for no obvious reason.
After resetting the router we get 30Mbs download speed (which is what I expect) for a couple of days.
Thereafter, we're lucking to get 1 or 2Mbps ; less than 1Mbs most days.
The service is unusable, I get grief from all clients attempting to use the Internet, and my desktop PC wireless connectivity stops working.
I've been all through the BT Help Desk tech support scripts, tried different channels etc. etc.
I'm borderline throwing the towel in and moving provider. There must be someway our Internet profile can be reset so we don't have to wait for this line settling period. My instinct tells me it's a faulty router.
Last chance saloon, what are my options?
Thanks in advance.
No I jest. Grief from family...
I will just have to try and get a new router out of BT....if not I quit.
For the record, this issue has now been totally resolved by renewing the wireless router to a HH4.
Not impressed with BT. Seemed more interested in renewing my contract than resolving my problem.
