HH3 and network switch

Go to solution

Hi Guys,

Need some advice about switches.  I have a home hub3 and one of my network cables runs to the other side of the house where I have my sky tv box and a blueray player to access 'love film' on.  Both require internet access, so I need to connect both to the one ethernet cable.  Can I buy a switch to give me two ethernet connections , if so what type do you recommend. Will I have to configure it at the hub end or should it just work, plug and play? Cheers.

if you get a tplink tl-sf1005d and connect it you your existing ethernet cable this will provide 5 additional ethernet ports - plug and play

Tried this and it worked. Very easy - plug and play, as you said. Cheers 'imjolly'.
