I can sort of get DLNA streaming from my mobile phone and netbook to my Panasonic TV using DLNA and an HH4.
It will show Photos no trouble, but whilst it streams HD videos they can sometimes be quite jerky.
If I place the phone/Netbook right close to the HH4 then it streams OK. But we are talking not more than five or six feet away.
The phone 'pushes' to the TV via DLNA, the Netbook is 'found' by the TV as a server. But Its similar with my netbook. The TV will find the netbook server, but dosn't like streaming HD video. Standard video and photos are OK.
Before I had an HH2b and it had similar problems ( theres an old post on this forum somewhere ). I was hoping "the best wifi yet" would cure it and so forked out the £35 odd for an HH4. It hasn't, its the same.
Basically, to answer your question, my HH4 streams using DLNA OK, but isn't too good at HD video.
I use wireless to the router for the Phone and the Netbook, and then wired from the router to the TV.
Also, in general, unless there is a specific instance BT support were refering to, I think they are wrong as DLNA does work, just not too well for HD in my case.
PS - Maybe the HH5 will cure my speed and your DLNA problem when its released - http://recombu.com/digital/news/bt-home-hub-5-wifi-ac-dual-band-hands-on-pictures_M11821.htmlhttp://recombu.com/digital/news/bt-home-hub-5-wifi-ac-dual-band-hands-on-pictures_M11821.html - Don't tell me, it'll have the best WiFi yet etc etc
