HH5 Power Supply type A or B:is there a difference re use.

Go to solution

Hi

Just a general question: I have a HH5 TypeB with the a type B power supply. However, I also have a spare HH4/5 type A power supply.

My question is; would that Type A power supply work with the Home Hub5 TypeB, re emergencies if the type B power supply stopped working?

Cheers

K

Thanks for that.

I presume therefore, if the power supply on the HH5 goes then you can buy a replacement easily enough. I could not find one on the BT store pages.

I always like a back-up, even though I use a dedicated power socket. Ebay will be my friend unless BT supply as a matter of course re the contract you have with them?
