HH5 and openreach modem echolife hg612 3b

hello,

having issues with the HH5 Rebooting through the day so i want to use my old openreach modem with the HH5

 

i plugged the dsl cable into the or modem and connected a cable from lan1 on the modem to the wan (red) on the HH5 but i couldnt get it working! is there anything i have to do to the modem? any help would be appreciated.

Try switching modem on first and wait until it connects then connect the HH5.
