Re: BT Smart Hub

Ribblelancs

You could get a spare Homehub on ebay for buttons if that is what you really want.

New features... sometime in the future. So why the hurry to get a new router out now. Why don't they bring out a fully functioning router. Going by previous experience with HHs there will be problems whith their updates. Some people are still waiting for the software updates for their HH5.

Re: BT Smart Hub

The wireless works fine without splitting at the moment

i will split to see if there is a difference

Currently getting max throughput of my connection - 74.86Mbps

Lets be clear about this hub

nobody saying this is the best hub you can buy far from it

but it is a nice improvement over the HH5 so far.

It appears to me that some people are saying that. But the problem is that you are having to BUY it. Either by laying out hard cash or by re-contracting, often at a higher price and by what the posters on this forum are saying it  would appear to nothing more than a locked down ISP router that does not allow for much if any changes to be made by the user.

Re: BT Smart Hub

It would have been a good idea for the Smart Hub to show the amount of CRC's and Errored Seconds during the uptime as this would have given you guys more info into the end-users line stability.

Re: BT Smart Hub

This is not what i'm understanding

BT are offering completely different deals to people

so silly in some regards

My deal was 12 Months at the same price i'm currently at and just paid p+p

I will say though i'm paying £82 per month anyways as i have a few mobiles and tv.
