HH6 Alternative with G.Fast Support

Can anyone recommend a suitable, stable alternative to BT HomeHub 6? I have BT Ultrafast broadband with a theoretical line speed of 160Mbps, using FTTC and G.Fast. I usually get up to 140 Mbps reported via speed tests on a wired ethernet connection. I have issues with my HH6 (no need to go into details) and am seeking to replace. It seems many devices out there don’t support G.Fast and would therefore cap my line at 100Mbps, which I do not want. I’m not interested in WiFi capabilities, as that is delivered by completely separate hardware and this will not change. I simply want a reliable device to use as a modem and nothing else.

Have a look at the Zyxel devices, XMG5101-S10A or XMG3927-B50A

Just to add to your comment above... a device that doesn't support G.Fast will not limit you to 100Mb.

It simply wouldn't work at all.

The Asus DSL-AC88U I believe is G.Fast compatible.

I couldn't find anyone selling the Zyxel XMG5101-S10A, but I did find the XMG3927-B50A which I can recommend as a replacement for BT's HH6XA (G.Fast).

Where did you get the zyxel router from?

Looks like everyone is waiting for more stock. The main UK supplier is Lambda Tek but they're out of stock, as are sotel.de (where I bought mine).
