Thanks. Looks like you've just saved me 60 quid as I have now changed my mind and will stick with HH5.
I was looking for better wi fi range as the HHb5 is so bad is barely reaches into the next room. As a result I've used powerline adapters and reconfigued my old HH3 as an additional wireless access point so I can get some half decent coverage. My devices almost always choose to connect to the HH3 as opposed to the HH5 even when the 3 is futher away.
If they can knock £80 off the price that should tell you either they can't shift them for the original price ie over priced to start with or that nobody wants them.
Sent it back and get your money back and buy a decent third party VDSL modem/router.
Wifi power is restricted by law, all routers have the same output power, the only difference between them is aerial design. Any router with internal aerials will never be as good as one with external ones.
Well it can't be cached my end as I only looked at it for the first time today.
No bother though, having been pointed to posts about how bad it is I'm not going to bother.
