fibre on demand (FTTPoD or FoD as its also known) is only available from a few providers at the moment, in fact the only 2 i know of are fluidone and cerberus both of which have had a large writeup on another major broadband review websites forum (sorry can't give link as it is against posting rules)
it may be a good idea to wait a few months tho as the current pricing structure of FoD is changing and its also believed that the the contract term is changing to a 1 year contract instead of the current 3 year term, the big problem tho is the "build charge" is expected to be higher so while you are paying the same (in theory) its under a much shorter term.
Its a shame the big boys of sky, talk talk, ect don't have any interest in selling FoD and yet want openreach to build a full fibre network so they can resell it like they do with VDSL.
