Re: HTTP hanging?

Could be a browser problem. Try with all plugins disabled, and try a different browser.

Could be a dns issue. Try http://82.165.127.190/ . That won't give you a useful page, just a 404 not found page, but should do an HTTP turnaround that does not require DNS. If it works, that points to dns as the problem.

Re: HTTP hanging?

It would be better to try http://212.58.253.67 to go to the BBC as that should yield a proper result

Re: HTTP hanging?

I chose a webpage that did not have any references to other pages.

With a 'real' page, there will be lots of references, some of which will be relative and not require dns lookup, but there may well be others to external domain that require further dns lookup. That bbc page has lots of references to static.bbci.co.uk that would require dns resolution.

Re: HTTP hanging?

It loaded the BBC homepage.

And this problem is beginning to be annoying, how can I fix it?

I didn't understand what sjtp wanted me to do exactly.. It just shows a 404 page and that's it

I tried to do a dns flush but nothing solved.
