Halo 1 vs Halo 2

Hi all

Had the letter saying I can upgrade from halo 1 to halo 2 for the same price £54.99.  Can someone explain what the actual differences are as from what I can see it is just the home tech support, is that right ?   There was a setup fee but to be honest not sure I want to pay that just for tech support, if they gave free wifi disks or something maybe.
