we had a problem when was wasn't getting the throught speeds so we rung BT they tried to apply some speed boost because the thought the ip profile was set incorrectly? however they have set it up for infinity 1 speeds not infinity 2 speed which we have had since August we wre getting between 70-80 usually connects at 79999 with noise margin of 3.5
Is it possible you set it back up on Infinity 2 speeds again.
Are you still using the home hub 6?
If you are, then please could you post the full connection details.
We use our Billion 8800nl router becuase the smart hub drops the connection router goes orange every 1-2hours when I use the billion router the connection stays up for weeks.
then post stats from your billion
can you enter your phone number and post results remember to delete number http://dslchecker.bt.com/adsl/adslchecker.welcome
These are the router stats and estimates the router conencted at 79999 and 19999up with noise margin of 3.5 now its connected at 54 and 9 up.
very small making difficult to read but it looks like your noise margin is high possibly drops in conenction and/or line noise which has resulted in a drop in connection speed your attainable is still within your estimated range
Up until yesterday we was on infinity 2 since this morning we have been on infinity 1 speeds
The maximum speed for Range A is only 68.8Mbs now, which is only just above the speed for Infinity 1.
It may have been revised downward, as more customers have connected to the cabinet.
You are never going to connect at 79.99Mbs now.
The maximum available rate for your line is showing as 66.3Mbs.
when g.inp was enabled we would connect at around 72-73 it would reduce the noise margin every day to 3.5 and that would connect at 79
any chance you can repost the router stats but larger so we can read thgem
