Having to hotpot through Vodafone

Holidaying in Holland just now and the BT mobile connection is terrible. 3 BT users having to hot-spot through 1 Vodafone connection.(which is excellent) This is really poor and will make me rethink renewing contracts.

It's not a BT Mobile connection, it's T-Mobile

I thought it was done automatically, like every other one. So do I have to manually put in settings, if so do you know what it is?

Normally when roaming abroad you can connect to most networks without changing settings.
You say Vodafone works, have you tried your BT mobile phone on that network?
