Received a new BT Mobile sim, activated it then went to bt.com/keepmynumber and entered the PAC code from EE, received activation and notification of number move and activation day.
On number move day received text from BT that the EE number had been transferred after turning the phone of and on could only receive incoming calls unable to make outgoing calls with a message that the system is busy please try again later, called the help line who checked and found no faults and just to keep turning the phone off and on every 2 hours, we have tried the sim in other phones with the same result.
How long does the changeover take and why can the phone receive calls on the EE number but not make them, any help please.
I'm in the same position after moving to BT from EE today...
Can receive texts but not make them. Tried to make a call - "system is busy".
Received one text through from BT during the day saying porting had happened fine.
Keep turning phone off/on, no difference.
Not sure what else to do
