Help with ringing UK from USA

I have just loaded Smart Talk onto our mobile as we are going to the USA shortly. If we want to ring a UK number from the USA using Smart Talk, do we just dial the UK local number or do we still use the international dialling code (0044)? If the latter, do we need to remove the International call bar first?

you just dial as if you are at home so no international codes required.

Just called my daughter from Copenhagen simply using her contact details already stored; the international code is definitely not needed.

Having just got back from the States, we used the app over there frequently to call the UK. Works just like you were in the UK. Very impressed ! Very simple and easy. Be aware of the wifi speed for the connection you have in the states as this can cause some break up on the call. In the main we found this ok, but worth thinking about before you make the call.
