Hello I was just curious on how slow my Internet download speed is. I'm currently on the Ultimate BT Package, using the BThomehub2, I'm using windows 7 if this is any help.
Also my wireless connection keeps dropping out which requires me to reset the Hub which annoys me as it drops out constantly.
** I haven't tried Wired Connection as I don't want wired I want Wireless.
Please help and if any more information is needed, please ask as this is so annoying and I really need advice and help!

Preferably I would like to atleast try and sort my wireless problem out first before I even think about going wired... I also have laptops and other computer consoles such as playstations, xbox's ..
you don't need a service id just phone number is sufficient for btspeedtester to run
are you connected directly to the NTE5 master or test socket or to somewhere else? Do you have any phone extension sockets in your home?
Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal

number:0191xxxxxxx. Please check that it is the correct telephone number for
your service. Did you follow all the instructions given on the website, before
initiating the speed test. If not, then please follow all the instructions
carefully and try to run the test again.If you believe it is the correct number
for your service and you have followed all the instructions then please ask your
Service Provider whether you can use Performance Tester to test your Broadband
speed. If yes, then ask him for the Service ID of your broadband connection and
try again with this Service ID along with your Telephone Number. If this problem
persists, raise the issue with your service provider.
im connected to the NTE5 which is fitted to the microfilter then to router...? ive tried the 17070 test with a cordless phone and hear a slight dull humm.
