Re: Here we go again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I am also fed up with this:

System Error Image not loaded

The Performance Tester is currently unable to run a speed test for your broadband connection. Please try again shortly, however if this problem persists, raise the issue with your service provider.

I have NEVER yet been able to run the 3rd test. This really is a piled up load of horse pooh!

BTVision? refusing to download because I 'do not have the bandwidth'!!!!!!

Re: Here we go again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was having similar problems... you are a bit stuck in that it is now the weekend and most of the decent staff who know what they are doing will have gone home.

email  forum.moderation.team@bt.com

use the subject FAO SeanD  Infinity speed problem

give him your account number and phone number, tell him you want to speak to tier 2 support

they are now working on my line and touch wood this weekend mine seems to be a lot better

the first thing they asked me to do which helped initially was power down both white VDSL modem and black hub, power up the modem first, wait till both green lights come on, then power up the black hub

the way the system is supposed to work is that 1st line support run a simple line check, if this shows a problem they are supposed to put you through to tier 2, however whenever I've called they put you on hold then cut you off and you never get to speak to tier 2

if the call center in India refuse to put you through to tier 2, tell them you want to speak to the Infinity Options team to talk about cancelling your account, when you get through to options, explain to them your situation and ask to speak to tier 2, they will then put you through successfully

or ask one of the moderators on here to get you in touch with tier 2, they should be able to

of course tier 2 are probably all off work over the weekend, so try again on monday

Right here we are peak hour.

Just turned back on the modem and hub, so bascially  starting from fresh: Question is just why should this bring the speed back up if their is no problem on the network?
