High Ping

Hi, I moved to BT from TalkTalk 3 days ago and noticed the ridiclously high ping throughout the day. So high I can't play online games at all. 
The ping is constantly over 140ms+ and can reach up to 300ms+ randomly. I test this using both wired and wireless connection.  Siometimes, it goes down for a couple of minutes after I restart the HUB then goes back up again.
Any particular reason for this?

you are at this time in your 10 day line training period please stop restarting you hub there should be no manual restart carried out during the training period as this will have an adverse effect on your connection you should have an approximate 14mb connection just let the exchange equipment settler your connection it is quite normal for the hub to restart automatically during this time while your best speed is selected
