High error rate

Since my request for fastpath has been refused due to high error rate some months ago, my line has not been great and sometimes it can a bit unstable, e.g. not responding.

Basically, it has not been good since new line was installed in December 2015.

Here is my modem stats for nearly 7 days now.

Re: High error rate

Did you check quiet line test for line noise?

Re: High error rate

There's no phone equipment or anything connected to the master socket, other than just the router.

By the way, I'm deaf, how can I hear?

Re: High error rate

could you ask a family member or friend to do the quiet line test at the test socket without doing the test there is no way of telling if you have a line fault also using the test socket will eliminate the possibility of you being charged if an engineer visit is needed

Re: High error rate

Unfortunately, I have had no-one coming for weeks.  I have realised that both lines are terrible.

Here is the latest stats for the original line, the connection has been up for 7 days and 19 hours & 16 minutes.
